William C. Schwartzkopf
William Schwartzkopf heads the national construction litigation practice at Sage Consulting Group, a national consulting firm specializing in construction claims and contract surety defaults based in Denver, Colorado. He has appeared in various state and federal Courts throughout the United States, as well as in front of many arbitration panels and disputes review boards. He was formerly the Vice President and General Manager in an ENR top 150 Building Contractor and Vice President and General Counsel in an ENR top 10 specialty contractor.
Mr. Schwartzkopf is the author of Calculating Lost Labor Productivity Claims and Practical Guide to Construction Contract Surety Claims, and co-author of Calculating Construction Damages, published by Aspen Law & Business. As a Registered Professional Engineer, Mr. Schwartzkopf is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers as well as the American Bar Association and its Forum Committee on the Construction industry and Public Contract Law sections. He received both a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering and a J.D. from the University of Nebraska.
