Changes to federal procurement policy are occurring at a fast pace, and doing business the way we have in recent years can cause tremendous problems in the current environment. This information-packed program will provide an in-depth analysis of what has happened in the last 12 months and will highlight significant changes in the regulations over the past year to help you modify your policies and procedures accordingly.

This 90-minute presentation will help you to:

  • Prepare for the effect of continuing sequestration: Understand the shutdown status, current appropriations and estimated cuts for 2014.
  • Become familiar with the The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013, and the recently passed National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014.
  • Learn how new statutes, regulations and case decisions such as accelerated payments and OFCCP new rules will affect government contracting.
  • Discover if there have been any changes in final rules from interim rules.
  • Identify new publications that you should be aware of.
  • Become conversant with new cases (pre-award or post-award) changing the pre-existing rules or putting a finer point on pre-existing rules.
