Meet Your Expert Instructor:

Mitch Chvilicek, P.E., is a Senior Commissioning Agent at GBS and has been responsible for commissioning more than 50 projects that are pursuing LEED certification. He has experience as the lead commissioning consultant on a wide variety of project types. Before joining GBS, he was responsible for the operation of nuclear reactor and steam propulsion plants and has performed test and balance work for sensitive operations such as semi-conductor manufacturing facilities. His in-depth knowledge of building mechanical systems and component interactions provides insight into opportunities to optimize building performance and energy efficiency. As the project commissioning agent, he takes responsibility for the commissioning of the building systems from the kick-off meeting through the final tests and checklists. He provides commissioning toolkits to facilities teams and prepares the commissioning reports.
