Meet Your Presenter:
Jim Brown is a Vice President for Malcolm Pirnie, the Water Division of ARCADIS-U.S., Inc., a global environmental engineering and consulting firm. He is a licensed engineer with over 40 years' experience in construction administration services, encompassing design, review of contract documents, value engineering, project planning and scheduling and resident engineering. Mr. Brown manages submittal review, change order preparation, and construction claims and evaluation for the firm. In his current assignment, he is responsible for all design services during construction for a $4 billion upgrade of a major wastewater facility. A graduate of Clarkson University with a B. S. in Civil Engineering and New Jersey Institute of Technology with an M.S. in Environmental Engineering, he is a past Chair of the Engineers Joint Contract Documents Committee (EJCDC) and currently chairs the group’s Construction and Procurement Subcommittees. |
