HIRE ACT INCLUDES SOME GREEN BUILDING PROVISIONS; SENATOR INTRODUCES BUILDING STAR ENERGY EFFICIENCY REBATE BILL

President Obama last month signed into law a jobs bill (H.R. 2847) that includes some provisions to promote green buildings.

The new Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment Act contains the following components to advance green construction:
