Prime Pays Sub in Accordance with Original Assertion to Owner

A prime contractor’s letter to the project owner on behalf of a subcontractor was admissible in the sub’s subsequent suit against the prime contractor. Although the contractor said it merely acted as an advocate for the sub, the letter reflected the contractor’s interpretation of the contract requirements.
