Government Did Not Guarantee Accuracy of Mandatory Price Book


Where a contract’s fixed price was determined by applying a multiplier to unit costs listed in a pricing book, the government did not warrant the accuracy of those costs. Instructions for using the pricing book were implicitly incorporated into the contract. Those instructions assigned the business risk of fluctuations in material costs to the contractor.
