Architect Not Liable to Contractor for Role in Default


While a contractor challenged an architect’s certification of grounds for default, evidence established that the project owner had adequate reasons to terminate even in the absence of the architect’s certification. The contractor could not recover from the architect for tortious interference with the construction contract.
