Claim Limitation Period Started with Acceptance of Sub’s Work

Once a subcontractor’s work was accepted by the project owner, as evidenced by the filing of a certificate of partial substantial completion, a five-year claim limitation period started to run. Commencement of the period, as it pertained to the subcontractor’s work, was not deferred until final completion of the project.
