Owner Recovers Liquidated Damages Despite Convenience Termination


A termination for convenience clause reserved “any other right or remedy” of the project owner. The owner was entitled to recover liquidated damages for late completion even though the owner elected to terminate the contract for convenience and did not default the contractor.
