SLJ900 Bridge Girder Erection Machine - Model and the Real Thing

Chinese engineers have built a bridge girder erection machine that cantilevers itself out to drop girders on pre-constructed supports. Recently, we found a video of a radio-controlled (RC) model of the machine. The model is quite realistic and shows exactly how the process works.  The videos of the real thing are fascinating. 

Massman Construction, the general contractor for the project, brought in cranes to help nudge the bound up structure into the river, as seen in the next video.
