Maxwell Systems Inc., a provider of construction business management software solutions, has released ProContractorMX Version 2.5.
Designed as an "all-in-one construction management solution," ProContractorMX provides end-to-end control from takeoff and estimating through job cost accounting and project management. The release of 2.5 offers more functionality to optimize project execution for maximum profitability, according to Maxwell.
New capabilities in ProContractorMX 2.5 include the following:
ProContractorMX Connect -- This feature allows access to updated project information for the office or field. Using the latest mobile devices, project managers can access documents and reports, which are usually kept in hard copy job folders.
Document Management -- This capability helps contractors create, track, organize, and manage documents associated with every project, build online "paper" trails, and set alerts for due dates. This allows contractors to streamline workflow, maintain better accuracy, manage more efficiently, meet deadlines, and stay on schedule.
Payroll Electronic Filing -- With this feature, contractors can use ProContractorMX for electronic tax filing for "more seamless and convenient" workflow, the company stated. After processing payroll, the solution generates tax file information and can create e-files (or magnetic media) suitable for filing to state and federal agencies.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) -- This capability allows contractors to skip the process of taking off blueprints or digital files by importing items from a BIM file and populate an estimate with cost items and quantities.
